4.Galleria del Rettorato

Trascrizione

The Gallery is the entrance to the Rectorate. On its walls, a cycle of frescoes represents the cities of the Serenissima, academic symbols, university buildings, and former students who have become saints or blessed. Along the walls, a sequence of white halberd lamps, wooden benches and coat hangers complete the decoration.

The rooms that follow, collectively called the "Circolo dei Professori", were designed in the 1930s by the Rector Carlo Anti and Gio Ponti, who also designed all the furnishings.
